After growing up on a dairy farm in Central Minnesota I couldn't wait to hit the big city of Minneapolis. With cow manure on my shoes and radio in my blood I attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis for broadcasting. My first radio job took me back to the cornfields of Carroll, Iowa, then on to Iowa City and Terre Haute, Indiana.
My first trip out of the Midwest was when I landed a job at 96 WAVF in Charleston, South Carolina. From there I never looked back. After three years in Denver, Colorado I spent eleven and a half years in the Washington, D.C. radio market. I'm divorced and have no children so the early morning waking hour of 3am to get to WFLS is no problem for me. In my spare time I like to run (I've run 9 marathons), golf with my girlfriends and make mosaic crafts.
