Local Class to Teach Your Kids Computer Code for Free Next Weekend

by Deirdre Blake posted Feb 25 2014 7:24AM
In our tech savvy world, you can give your kids and teens a leg up in learning how to write computer code for free.
The Fred-x Coder Dojo is on March 8th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Learner Space on the Stafford campus of the University of MaryWashington. It's for kids from seven to 17 and will introduce them to learning code, computer languages and 3-d scanning and printing. They don't need prior experience, but should bring a laptop.
