Local History Tourism Feels Shutdown Pinch

by Deirdre Blake posted Oct 14 2013 6:54AM
Dozens of people have staged a protest run through Valley Forge National Historical Park near Philly after a runner and at least 20 other people got $100 tickets for violating the closure.
Closer to home, some private tours are running, but most parks are closed. We talked to a large tour group here from upstate New York that says they had to scramble last minute. Sadly the only got to go around the outskirts of famous places like Chancellorsville and Wilderness.
