Supreme Court justices will be diving into the heart of the battle over the health care overhaul Tuesday.
University of Mary Washington Political Analyst, Dr. Steven Farsnworth calls Monday a warm-up before the varsity event. During Monday's session, the justices considered whether it's premature for them to rule on the merits of the case, since Americans aren't yet being forced to pay the penalty for not having the insurance. But the justices indicate the issue won't stand in the way of a ruling.
Farnsworth says Governor Bob McDonnell and others have to be prepared for the court to affirm or reject the appeal. He thinks a final ruling on the matter will come from the court before it adjourns in early July.
