A 51 year old Stafford County man dies at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg Thursday morning after his car sped through the gravel parking lot, across a grassy area and into a tree next to a shelter. Fredericksburg Police Spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe says they are still not positive on what happened, but think it may have been a medical emergency. After the crash, a bystander, then police and the rescue workers performed CPR.
Police are trying to contact the man's relatives before releasing his name.
