Man Faces Up to 125 Years in Prison for Burglary Spree

A 25 year old man faces up to 125 years in prison for a string of burglaries last year in Louisa, Fluvanna and Albemarle counties.
Marcus Houchens is convicted on six counts of burglary, four counts grand larceny and five counts of property damage. Thousands of dollars in property was stolen and destroyed during the break-ins at multiple homes.
Though Houchens was on tape for some of them, he refused to plead guilty. Authorities also found out he was trying to get witnesses to lie on his behalf. He will be sentenced in Louisa County on November 1st.
