Man convicted of soliciting sex with a Stafford minor over Internet

A man who for several years carried on a sexually explicit computer relationship with a Stafford girl he met on vacation when she was a pre-teen wass convicted of seven charges today.
John Boyd, 50 Pennsylvania was convicted in Stafford Circuit Court of six counts of using a computer to solicit sex with a minor and two counts of reproducing child pornography.
Boyd will face a minimum penalty of 13 years and a maximum of 160 when he is sentenced June 19.
