93.3 WFLS – 5 O’CLOCK SOMEWHERE
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.

  1. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE . Subject to the additional restrictions below, 93.3 WFLS – ‘5 O’Clock Somewhere’ Contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of the State of Virginia, State of Maryland and Washington, DC residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, are legal U.S. residents, and who possess a valid government-issued photo identification. Current employees or agents of The Star Radio Group d/b/a WFLS-FM, WWUZ-FM and WYSK-FM ("Star Radio Group" or "Sponsor"), Landshark Lager (“LL”), Carlson Wagonlit Travel (“CWT”), J.F. Fick Distributing ("JFF") and Hard Time Café (“HTC”), Brocks Restaurant (“BR”) and Cancun Margarita Bar & Grill (“MBG”) and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. Persons who have won another contest or promotion of any kind from Star Radio Group, or whose immediate family members have won another contest or promotion of any kind from Star Radio Group, within thirty (30) calendar days before the Contest start date also are ineligible. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Limit one (1) “WFLS Passport” per person.
  2. HOW TO QUALIFY. All contestants must register at our ‘5 O’Clock Somewhere’ parties, which will be listed weekly on wfls.com.  Party starts on Friday, March 14th and will run thru Friday, April 11th.  A maximum of 25 contestants will be selected at each party by random draw of registration slips or by playing various fun games to win a “WFLS Passport” which qualifies them for the Grand Prize.  (Games: TBA)  Final opportunity to win “WFLS Passports” will be on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 7P-8P at finale party location (Location TBA) and the grand prize drawing is happen about 8PM that night.  Grand Prize winner will be chosen randomly from all “WFLS Passport” holders who are must on April 11, 2008.
  3. TIMELINE FOR CONTEST.   Contest starts on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 12:00AM (E.S.T.) and runs until Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:00PM (E.S.T).
  4. PRIZE.  Four (4) night stay in Cancun with round trip air for two from Carlson Wagonlit Travel-Fredericksburg, VA.  Prize winner is responsible for taxes.  Other restrictions apply including but not limited too: Booking on Gog or Apple Vacations or similar, with air on most economical fare in the market.  Certificate must be presented before tickets can be issued.  Resort is at total discretion of Carlson Wagonlit Travel of Fredericksburg.  No changes can be made after booking is made.  Winner is responsible to provide names as they appear on passport.  Any changes in spelling will incur a $100 per person fee.  Insurance is highly recommended and is the responsibility of the winner.  Winner is responsible for $30 document processing fee to be paid at booking.  Prize must be redeemed by October 31, 2008.
  5. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes each qualifier’s consent to the use of his or her name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness by Sponsor and/or LL and/or CWT and/or JFF and/or HTC and/or BR and/or MBR in any media, including without limitation the Internet, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor and/or LL and/or CWT and/or JFF and/or HTC and/or BR and/or MBR. By participating, qualifiers agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the Contest administrators and judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest.
  6. DISCLAIMERS. By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that Sponsor, CL, FDC, HTC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and agents (collectively, the "Contest Entities") will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of prize(s), travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Contest, printing, mailing or distribution errors that are not in compliance with these Official Rules.
  7. CONSTRUCTION. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
  8. SPONSOR. The Star Radio Group "WFLS 5 O’Clock Somewhere" Contest is sponsored by The Star Radio Group d/b/a WFLS-FM, WWUZ-FM AND WYSK-FM ("Star Radio Group" or "Sponsor"). The decisions of Sponsor and the Contest administrators and judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest. Copies of these Official Rules are available at The Star Radio Group offices located at The Free-Lance Star Newspaper at 616 Amelia Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EDT) Monday through Friday, and also are available online at www.wfls.com.
