A Manhunt is under way for the suspect in 3 home explosions in Fredericksburg and Stafford that happen Tuesday morning.
Police identifed the individual as 25 year-old Laurence Stewart of Stafford County.
Authorities said 2 of the homes were those of sheriff's officers.
“The investigation has clearly indicated the target of these brutal bombings against the two law enforcement officers from Stafford County Sheriff’s Office and an x-girlfriend are a result of an investigation where Stewart was charged.” Stafford County Sheriff Charlie Jett said Wednesday afternoon at a press conference at the Stafford County Public Safety Building.
Jett said Stewart should be considered armed and dangerous.
