On June 2, 2012 at approximately 0218 hours, TFC J. Edelen was on patrol southbound Route 301 at Billingsley Road when he observed a Gold Chevy Impala traveling above the posted speed limit, 61 mph in a posted 45 mph zone. TFC Edelen initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Travis Jerrod White, 30 years of Laurel, MD when he detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Trooper T. Hooten arrived on the scene to assist. White was charged with speeding, possession of marijuana, with intent to distribute, and possession of paraphernalia.
