Massive Turn Out for the Army 10 Miler

by Deirdre Blake posted Oct 21 2013 6:46AM
More than 30,000 people showed up at the Pentagon yesterday to run across the Memorial Bridge and around the National Mall for the annual Army 10 Miler.
More than 60 percent of the runners each year are active duty, reserve, guard, retired military, veterans or Department of Defense employees. All the money raised goes to the Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund.
