Two Stafford County men are behind bars charged with possession of Pig Iron.
The arrests of 37-year-old Timothy Hackett and 25-year-old William Williams III comes as part of an ongoing undercover sting operation according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
According to authorities on Monday an undercover detective sold pig iron to Williams and Hackett at Northern Virginia Metal Recyclers. As soon as the sale was completed the two were arrested and a search warrant was executed.
Charges against other individuals are possible.
Pig Iron, used on railroad tracks, cannot be sold, puchased or posssessed under Virginia law.
