Construction of a new Community Development Services Center in Stafford County, already underway, is the latest step in an ongoing campaign by Stafford officials to make the area more friendly and helpful to businesses and more competitive in the economic development arena.
The Board of Supervisors approved $400,000 for the center last year. It is aimed at streamlining the processes that citizens and businesses must go through for building and development projects.
The center will be located in the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center on Courthouse Road and is expected to be completed by sometime next month.
