Chancellor senior Kelli Carneal was named the Battlefield District's volleyball player of the year, after leading the Chargers to regular-season and tournament crowns.
Carneal led the Chargers in assists and aces. Chargers coach Rod Crooks was named coach of the year.
Carneal was joined on the first team by teammates Seth Sullivan, Emma Lee Gillespie and Adriana Ramos.

EAGLES' FROHNAPFEL IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
District regular-season and tournament champion Colonial Forge had two all=district first-team selections, including Commonwealth player of the year Sarah Frohnapfel and coach of the year Keith Mesa.
Colonial Forge's Heather Quick was also a first-team pick for the Eagles, who host Franklin County on Tuesday in the Northwest Region quarterfinals.
