1 dead after fire in Port Royal
Weather hampered firefighters.

One person is dead after an early morning fire Monday in the Port Royal area of Caroline County. 78 year-old Marion Detweiler died in the blaze, her husband, 87 year-old Steven Detweiler tried to save her, he was taken to Riverside Hospital. The cause is under investigation, firefighters were hampered by the weather and the lack of hydrants in that area.
