Man trying to help in a fight robbed

A man trying to break up a fight between two women in Woodbridge over the weekend falls victim to being battered himself.
Robert Marion McGuire approached the scene and told the man he was a cop and ordered him to put his hands on the car. McGuire then searched the man and took a small amount of cash before punching him in the mouth.
McGuire was released on $2,000 bond and will be back in court July 28th.
