FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2009
SHOPLIFTING:
Target, 1180 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, 7/8 2:30 pm. A Loss Prevention employee reported he
observed a male enter the store and conceal electronics under his clothing. Westley Campbell,
18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting and released on a summons.
Target, 1180 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, 7/8 4:30 pm. A Loss Prevention employee reported he
observed a male enter the store and conceal various items of merchandise under his clothing.
The Loss Prevention employee detained the subject and called for police assistance. Cody
Morris, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting and released on a summons.
7-11, 3333 Fall Hill Ave, 7/9 12:30 am. An employee reported that he witnessed a subject in the
store concealing merchandise in his pants pocket. A second employee was able to detain the
subject and call for police assistance. Michael James, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for
shoplifting and released on a summons.
LARCENY:
800 block Wolfe St, 7/8 4:00 pm. The victim reported that her cell phone was stolen out of her
vehicle, which was left unsecured. There was no damage to her vehicle and there was nothing
else missing from the vehicle’s interior. The investigation is ongoing.
DUI ARRESTS:
Joshua Crews, 21, of Stafford was arrested for Driving Under the Influence in the 1600 block of
Jefferson Davis Hwy.
