A robbery at a Fredericksburg inn lead police to lockdown three schools and a daycare center this morning.
The robbery was at the Dunning Mills Inn just off Jefferson Davis Highway.
The black man left the area on foot and as a precaution Fredericksburg Christian, Walker Grant Middle and Lafayette Upper Elementary Schools along with Sonshine Daycare were locked down for more than an hour.
It was later determined the suspect was no longer in the area and the lockdown lifted at about 11 a.m.
Earlier there was a lockdown at Thornburg Middle School when a former student came on campus, apparently to start a fight.
The lockdown was lifted just before 9 a.m.
That matter has been over to the Spotsylavnia Sheriff's Office.
