Governor's Last Christmas in Mansion

Kaine plans holiday festivities.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia's first couple is getting ready to mark their last Christmas in the Executive Mansion.

Gov. Tim Kaine and first lady Anne Holton play to help light the official Capitol Christmas tree on Dec. 4.

This year's tree, a 25-foot Frasier Fir, was donated by Rodney and Cynthia Richardson of Mount Rogers Tree Farm in Whitetop.

Following the lighting of the tree, the governor and first lady will receive guests at the Executive Mansion during a holiday open house.
