Driver Killed in Spotsylvania Crash
Accident happened mid-day Saturday

An Orange County man was killed in a mid-day crash Saturday along River Road in Spotsylvania County.
A pickup truck driven by 70-year-old Royce Childress of Locust Grove ran off the shoulder of the road near Motts Reservoir and struck a tree.
Childress was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
