Man Faces Drug Charge
Thought he was hiding cocaine from detectives, then came back to get it.

A Spotsylvania man is behind bars on a drug charge. County narcotics detectives say they saw 42-year-old Rodney Lewis drop a suspected bag of cocaine in the ditch outside a fast food restaurant Tuesday evening in Thornburg.
Lewis came back just before Midnight to retrieve the package and was arrested. The estimated street value of the drugs is estimated at more than $12, 000.
Authorities say Lewis told them he saw the detectives and tried to hide the drugs from them.
