I'm on a stay-cation all week. It's a vacation where you do absolutely nothing. :) These are nice because you don't have to spend money to take one.

Don't miss me too much. I'll be back on your WFLS radio on Monday, February 2nd.

I treated myself to a Reese's Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate at Sheetz the other day. I had made a quick run at the Super Target at Cosner's Corner and stopped at the Sheetz there off Rt. 17 on my way home. OMG!!! It's like a melted Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. So yummy!!!

Have you tried it yet? What do you think?

Today, marks Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"

Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on the King Holiday to serve their neighbors and communities.

The MLK Day of Service is a part of United We Serve, the President's national call to service initiative. It calls for Americans from all walks of life to work together to provide solutions to our most pressing national problems.

If you love to garden, well I just want you to know that SEED packets are in at the Dollar Tree. At least at the Central Park location. I was in there just this past Tuesday morning and found seeds. I was excited to see them. I had a great success with my seeds last year that I got from the dollar tree. There's a few other garden things out as well. Like little seedling starter greenhouses, pots, and soil. Not too much. I wanted to get some more gloves but they didn't have those out yet. I'm guessing the extra gardening things will be put out in the next couple weeks so I will be making a trip back. :)

Here's the seed packets I got:

While I was picking out my seeds a shopper stopped me and said that her husband picked up his seeds yesterday from the Dollar tree and planted the seedlings when he got home. :)

This is Blade.

Blade, is a cute little tortoise that has a metabolic bone disease that makes him unable to carry his own shell. Poor guy right? :(

Blade's owner took him to the vet to help him. The doctor ended up making him a little wheel chair out of legos to help him. Now the little guy can get around. YAY!

Drumroll please. The Girl Scouts are adding three new cookie varieties to their delicious ranks this year.
Rah-Rah Raisins, an oatmeal cookie, Trios, a gluten-free peanut butter oatmeal cookie, and Toffee-tastics, a gluten-free butter cookie with toffee pieces, are the three new flavors for the 2015 cookie season, which embrace the latest food trends.
The inclusion of gluten-free cookies for the first time nationwide speaks to the rise in gluten-free lifestyles across America. The oatmeal raisin cookies are made with whole grain oats and Greek-yogurt chunks, another item which has soared in popularity and sold big with consumers.
The new cookies are part of a limited pilot plan and available in test markets as supplies last. Thin Mints have been the top-selling cookie, accounting for 25 percent of sales, according to the organization, followed by Samoas, Peanut Butter Tagalaongs, Do-si-dos, and then Shortbread/Trefoils. Other varieties round out the lineup.

The 90's had some of the best candy. Here's 11 reasons it was sweet to be a 90's kid.

I loved the Bubble tape! It makes the best bubbles!!!

How did I not know that fruit stripe gum wrappers had temp tats? Did you know that? The gum was awesome but it never lasted long. haha

I remember getting ring pops when I was little. After my girl scout meetings my mom would take my sister and I to the gas station next door and let us each buy one. Grape was my favorite!!

Ahhhhh.....memories! :)
