It seems like every time I think I'm caught up on new technology, something new comes out.  I get an I-phone 4 and the 5 comes out.  I get an HD TV and HD 3D comes out.  As Rascal Flatts said, "I miss Mayberry".

With a full slate of football on all levels this weekend, Sara Evans sends her own son onto the playing field.  Granted, he's only in 8th grade, but the fear of concussion or other injuries are very real to her.  Read on...

If I told you that Charlie Sheen was a smoker, you'd say "Of course he is. What doesn't he ingest?"  However, in this Hollywoodscoop.com list of 20 celebrity smokers, there might be some surprises.

First and foremost, if you DO watch and haven't seen the season 4 premier yet.....STOP......SPOILER ALERT AHEAD.  Anyway, after reading this Washington Post synopsis, I wondered about you.  What show do you NOT watch that everyone else seems to be talking about?

The Bentleys of Nashville welcomed their third child on Wednesday, naming the little fella Knox.  I'll bet if they lived in Knoxville they would have called him Nash. (rim shot here)

Lots of buzz about the new design of the hundred dollar bill.  I have to admit that because of the combination of debit cards and hard economic times, I can't remember the last time I had a hundred dollar bill.  Seeing the new bill is like looking at a fine piece of art: It's beautiful, but I don't see owning one in the near future.

So we know Carrie Underwood will be playing the role of Maria in "The Sound Of Music" in a live TV event on December 5th.  But how does Julie Andrews, the original Maria, feel about it........?  Well as expected, she's nice and supportive......as if she'd be mean about it.

And "Gravity" looks like a good one.  There's something about the daring of the astronaut and the void of space that captures my imagination.  Granted, mine can be captured by a random chipmunk, but that's beside the point.....
