One year after the school shootings in Newtown, more Americans than ever believe tackling mental health issues is the best way to prevent such mass murders. A new national telephone survey finds that 54% think more action to treat mental health issues will do the most to help.
Twenty-three percent believe stricter gun control laws will do the most. Another 12-percent call for limits on violent movies and video games.
