Price of Gas Likely to Drop More in Virginia

After next week, Virginia could be among the five most affordable states to buy gas.
AAA Mid-Atlantic estimates retail gas prices should drop by about six cents per gallon this summer. It's because of Governor Bob Mcdonnell's approved transportation plan that kicks in July 1st. The retail gas tax is being replaced with lower tax at the wholesale level.
The average for self-serve regular now is around $3.40 cents a gallon.
