**INCIDENTS**
 
Armed Robbery – On July 15th at 8:42PM, police responded to the 2000 block of Square Tiller Mews in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. The victim, a 25 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he delivering a pizza order to an address in the above area. Once there, the homeowner stated that they didn’t place an order. The victim returned to his vehicle where he then reported seeing two unknown men walk out of a nearby woodline. The men approached the victim where one of the men displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to the ground. The men then took the pizza, the victim’s wallet, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. The residents of the initial address were determined to not be involved. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.
                Suspect Descriptions:
                2 black males, both reported to be between 20 & 30 years of age—
1st male [armed suspect] was 6’1”, 170lbs with a muscular build and short black dreadlocks
Last seen wearing a tan shirt – no further description
 
2nd male was 5’10”, 200lbs with a heavy build and short black hair
Last seen wearing a black shirt – no further description

Burglary while Armed – On July 15th at 10:40PM, police responded to the 7500 block of Sage St in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that two unknown men forced their way into the residence. One of the men was armed with a shotgun. Once inside the home, the men demanded money. During the encounter, the armed suspect struck one of the residents, a 22 year old woman, in the head. The men fled the residence after taking a safe. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search. This incident is not random. Investigation continues.
                Suspect Descriptions:
                2 Hispanic males—
                1st male [armed suspect] was 6’0” with a thin build
                Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a ski mask
 
                2nd male had a medium to heavy build – no further description
                Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and hat
 
Residential Burglary – On July 15th at 12:27PM, police responded to the 10200 block of Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that she was sitting in a chair in her carport when she noticed an unknown white van pull into her driveway. An unknown man exited the vehicle and approached her, claiming to be from a construction company involved with the I-66 expansion project. The homeowner and unknown man then went to the rear of her property where they discussed the project. After talking for about an hour, the man left and told the homeowner to wait outside from another representative of the company to meet with her. The homeowner waited for a short time but no one came. The homeowner then returned to her residence and noticed that jewelry and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were missing from the home.
                Suspect Description:
White male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 6’0”, 250lbs with a heavy build and short brown hair
No clothing description

**ARRESTS**
 
Attempted Armed Robbery | Attempted Malicious Wounding – On July 16th at 12:30AM, police responded to the 7-11 located at 14400 Gideon Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a disorderly. Officers arrived and determined that the victim, a 24 year old man of Woodbridge, was held at knifepoint by the accused, a known acquaintance. The accused further attempted to get the victim to remove money from an ATM inside the store. During the encounter, the accused swung the knife towards the victim. A store clerk witnessed the encounter and called police. No injuries were reported and no robbery of the business was attempted. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

                Rodney ATKINSON, 48, of no fixed address
Charged with attempted armed robbery, attempted malicious wounding, and abduction

Brandishing a Machete – On July 15th at 7:51PM, police responded to the 15100 block of Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a disorderly. The investigation revealed that the accused had observed the victim, a 16 year old male of Woodbridge, throw a metal pole onto his property which damaged his pool. The accused then reportedly came out of his residence with a machete in hand. The victim ran to his residence nearby until police arrived. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested for brandishing the weapon and charges are pending against the victim for the damage done to the pool.

                Nelson RODRIGUEZ, 32, of 15135 Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge
                Charged with brandishing the machete

Narcotics Investigation – On June 6th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspected cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 13528 Delaney Rd in Woodbridge (22193). As a result of the search, suspected cocaine and evidence supporting distribution were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

                Omar Sayed MOHAMED, 32, of 13528 Delaney Rd in Woodbridge
                Charged with 2 counts of distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic

                                                                                  **ARRESTS**                                                        
 
Narcotics Investigation – On June 4th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of narcotics from the Rimpal Inn located at 7399 Old Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111). A search was also conducted of the rooms involved. As a result of the investigation, suspected cocaine, prescription medications, evidence supporting distribution, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were seized. The following arrests were also made without incident. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.
                Arrested on June 4th:
                Shawn Kendall MURRAY, 31, of 8829 Screech Owl Ct in Gainesville
                                                                               
Antonio Terrell MURRAY, 24, of 5367 Scottsville Rd in Jeffersonton, VA
 
Dave Ricardo SMITH, 45, of 1423 Mt Clinton Pl in Harrisonburg, VA
 
All 3 men were charged with 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, 1 count of possession with intent to distribute a schedule III narcotic, and 1 count of possession of with intent to distribute marijuana
