**INCIDENTS**
 
Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On May 17th at 6:31PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. Officers responded to the area and located two victims, a 35 year old woman and a 28 year old man 0 both of Woodbridge, suffering from injuries. The female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg while the male victim sustained a graze wound to his arm. The female victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation revealed that two unknown men, one in a vehicle and the other on foot, began shooting at one another for an unknown reason. During the shooting, the victims and multiple vehicles were struck. The victims were determined to not be involved in the incident. Both men fled prior to officers arriving in the area. The investigation continues.
                Suspect Descriptions:
                Back male, between 20 & 30 years of age with a heavy build and black dreadlocks
 
                Black male, between 18 & 25 years of age with a thin build and black dreadlocks
 
                Vehicle Description:
                Cream colored, 4-door Lincoln Town Car
 
Armed Robbery – On May 18th at 9:28PM, officers responded to the 8200 block of Vermont Pl in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 25 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. The men assaulted the victim and demanded money. At one point, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.
                Suspect Descriptions:
                Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 175lbs with a medium build
                Last seen wearing a black jacket with hood, black pants, and black shoes
 
                Black male, between 19 & 22 years of age, 5’6”, 150lbs with a medium build
                Last seen wearing a black jacket with hood, black pants, and black shoes
 
 
Felony Hit & Run – On May 17th at 9:55PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 18500 block of Old Triangle Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a hit & run crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2005 Infinity FX35 was traveling northbound on Old Triangle Rd at a high rate of speed when the driver crossed the double line to pass another motorist. At the same time, the driver of a 1999 Dodge Caravan was traveling the opposite direction and collided with the Infinity. The collision forced the Caravan into a 2008 Dodge Avenger traveling the same direction. Immediately after the collision, the driver and a front seat occupant of the Infinity fled the scene. Two of the three occupants inside the caravan were transported to an area hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Caravan could only be described as a white male. The investigation continues.
 
Commercial Burglary – On May 18th at 1:44PM, officers responded to Anne Moncure Park located at 4450 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a destruction of property. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred 4:30PM on May 17th and 12:30PM on May 18th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the concessions building on the property through a door which was pried open. A safe, containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, was reported missing. A similar incident was reported on May 4th, see below.
 
Commercial Burglary [Previously Released]On May 4th at 11:04AM, officers responded to Anne Moncure Park located at 4450 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on May 3rd and 10:30AM on May 4th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the concessions building on the property through a door which was pried open. Candy, total value around $50, was reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On May 17th at 6:01PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17400 block of Four Seasons Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:10AM and 4:50PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a window which was pried open. Jewelry, valued around $28,000, was reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On May 17th at 5:10AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12900 block of Abner Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was inside her residence when an unknown man entered her home through an unsecured door. The homeowner confronted and struck the man who then fled on foot. No injuries were reported by the homeowner and no property was reported missing.

                Asian or Hispanic male, unknown age, 5’7”, 140lbs – no further description

Residential Burglary – On May 16th at 5:10PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Colesmire Gate Way in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00AM on May 11th and 7:30AM on May 16th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Jewelry, valued around $9,000, was reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On May 16th at 10:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1600 block of Hylton Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary to a vacant home. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between an unknown time on March 14th and 10:00AM on May 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was forced open. Baseboard heaters and copper piping, total value around $3,000, were reported missing.
 
Burglary to a Church – On May 16th at 6:30PM, officers responded to the Heritage Baptist Church located at 14510 Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:20AM and 2:10PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the building. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear door. Once inside, the suspect(s) proceeded to the administrative area and ransacked multiple offices. Two laptops and other property, total value around $2,000, were reported missing. Damage was estimated to be around $5,000 and $10,000.
 
**ARRESTS**
 
Carnal Knowledge – On May 15th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in a wooded area in the 12800 block of Tumbling Brook Ln in Woodbridge (22192). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 13 year old female juvenile, was sexually assaulted by the below listed individuals. Following the investigation, both men were arrested without incident.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 18th at 1:31AM, officers stopped a vehicle in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Hoadly Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a traffic related offense. Officers determined that the driver, identified as the accused, was under the influence of alcohol. The accused initially resisted arrest but was subsequently detained. While officers were placing the accused in the backseat of a cruiser, she bit one of them in the arm causing a minor injury. Following the incident, the accused was arrested.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, reckless driving, and unreasonable refusal

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 17th at 7:00PM, officers were on scene of the aggravated malicious wounding [noted on page 1 of this report] in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) when a resident of the apartment complex, identified as the accused, approached a cordoned off crime scene area. The accused refused to listen to officers and crossed the police line into the crime scene area. Officers intervened and, at one point, the accused struck one of the officers in the hand. Following the incident, the accused was arrested.
