**INCIDENTS**
 
Residential Burglary – On July 22nd at 5:19PM, police responded to the 8200 block of Humphrey Ln in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM and 4:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. A cell phone, gaming console, and clothing items, total value around $1,400, were reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On July 22nd at 11:43AM, police responded to the 1000 block of Gardenview Lp in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 6:30PM on July 21st. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. A laptop, valued around $500, was reported missing.
 
**ARRESTS**
 
Rice, Vincent.jpgIndecent Exposure – On July 22nd at 9:42AM, police responded to the area of Spriggs Rd and Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an indecent exposure. Two victim’s, a 46 year old woman and a 48 year old woman – both of Dumfries, reported to police that they were driving on Spriggs Rd near Hoadly Rd, in separate vehicles, when a vehicle pulled next to them which was occupied by an unknown man. The victims reported seeing the man expose himself towards them and make inappropriate gestures. The victims were able to provide police with a tag number of the suspect vehicle. Officers located and stopped the vehicle in the area above and identified the driver as the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

                Vincent Howard RICE, 36, of 7409 Stonegate Estates Dr in Fredericksburg
                Charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure

Mejia-Morales, Jeins.jpgAssault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On July 20th at 10:45PM, police responded to the 13600 block of Lindendale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a disorderly person. Officers arrived and encountered an unknown man, who appeared to be intoxicated. During the encounter, the accused fled from officers after being told he was under arrest. Officers caught up to the man which led to a struggle. At that point, the accused pull away and struck the officer to his face. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. While investigating, the accused initially gave officers a fake name. The accused was then fingerprinted and determined to be a suspect wanted on burglary, larceny, and other charges. The accused had been sought by police since February of 2012 in reference to the below incident.
                Arrested on July 20th:
                Jeins Beiker MEJIA-MORALES, 21, of 13845 Delaney Rd in Woodbridge
                Charged with assault & battery on LEO, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice
Warrants served for burglary, attempted grand larceny, assault & battery, and destruction of property

Residential Burglary | Attempted Grand Larceny [Previously Released] On February 1st [2012] at 10:18PM, police responded to the 13700 block of Kaywood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a larceny in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he had heard a suspicious noise coming from outside his residence. Upon investigating the noise, he observed his power washer, valued around $300, had been moved from his detached garage to his front yard. As the homeowner approached his detached garage, he observed that someone had forced entry through a side door causing around $300 in damage. Once close to the garage the homeowner was confronted by an unknown man, later identified as the accused, who was exiting the garage. After a brief confrontation, the accused assaulted the victim and fled on foot. Minor injuries were reported. Detectives were able to identify the accused through evidence collected at the scene.
 
Sillerud, Joshua.jpgAssault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On July 22nd at 6:20PM, a Prince William County police officer, on routine patrol, located the accused lying on the sidewalk in the 7200 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109). During the encounter, the accused became agitated and threw a partially full plastic water bottle towards the officer, striking him. The accused was subsequently arrested. No injuries were reported.

                Joshua Matthew SILLERUD, 22, of no fixed address
                Charged with assault & battery on LEO
                Court date: August 23, 2013 | Bond: $2,500 secured
 

 
Narcotics Investigation – On July 22nd, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of marijuana at the Red Roof Inn located at 10610 Automotive Dr in Manassas (20109). During the investigation, a search warrant was executed at one of the rooms inside the motel. As a result of the search, marijuana and a handgun were recovered. The following arrests were also made without incident.

                Malik EL BEY, 26, of 874 Fairwood Dr in Culpepper
Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm with narcotics

Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and providing a false identity to police
