Strong Armed Robbery – On October 26th at 8:45PM, police responded to the 8300 block of Shoppers Sq in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 45 year old woman of Manassas Park, reported to police that she was loading her vehicle, which was parked in a parking lot in the above area, when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man demanded the victim’s purse. When the victim refused, a struggle ensued between the two parties. Once the suspect had the victim’s wallet, he ran and reportedly got into an older model sedan, possibly a BMW. No injuries were reported.
                Suspect Description:
                Hispanic male, unknown age, 5’10”, 180lbs with a medium build
                Last seen wearing a black & orange jacket, mask, and gloves
Residential Burglary – On October 27th at 2:50PM, police responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Lomond Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30PM on October 16th and 6:30AM on October 24th. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Binoculars, valued around $50, were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 24th at 4:00PM, police responded to a residence located in the 2900 block of Chinkapin Oak Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 7:00AM on October 23rd and 3:00PM on October 24th, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the home through a basement door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.

Cabrera, Marvin.jpgMalicious Wounding – On October 27th at 7:30PM, police responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 40 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a physical altercation with the accused and another known male acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in his face with a glass bottle. The victim sustained significant injuries to his face and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Injuries were non-life threatening. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused. The accused was eventually arrested the next day.
