**INCIDENTS**
 
Strong Armed Robbery | Assault & Battery – On July 16th at 6:25PM, police responded to the area of Lomond Dr and Brighton Way in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The victim, an 11 year old boy, reported to police that he was riding his bike in the area above when he encountered two unknown men. One of the men assaulted the victim which knocked him off of his bike. Both men then attempted to take the bike. The men dropped the bike after they were observed by a passing motorist. Before fleeing, the men popped a tire on the bike. Minor injuries were reported.
                Suspect Description:
White male, unknown age, 5’10”, 200lbs with a medium build, collar length blonde hair, and a mustache
                Last seen wearing a yellow sweatshirt and khaki shorts
 
Black male, unknown age, 6’2”, 200lbs with a medium build, short black hair, and a goatee
                Last seen wearing a red t-shirt, brown cargo pants, and red boots
 
Residential Burglary – On July 15th at 7:00AM, police responded to the 3000 block of American Eagle Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00AM and 4:00AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. Inside the vehicle was a garage door opener which was used to access the attached garage of the residence. Entry is then believed to have been made into the main residence through an unlocked interior door inside the garage. A laptop and purse, valued $1,000, were reported missing, in addition to, the homeowner’s vehicle.

Khan, Abdul.jpgProduction of Child Pornography – On May 21st, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began an investigation involving the production of child pornography which was reported to have occurred in the 9200 block of Campfire Ct in Bristow (20136) between February and May of 2013. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16 year old female of Bristow, exchanged explicit photographs and videos with the accused, a known acquaintance, over the computer. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on July 16th. A search warrant was also executed at the residence of the accused.
                Arrested on July 16th:
                Abdul Rehman KHAN, 32, of 9205 Campfire Ct in Bristow
Charged with production of child pornography, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and using a communication device to facilitate certain offenses involving children
                Court date: unavailable | Bond: $20,000 secured
 
Thompson, Jamal.jpgAssault & Battery on Corrections Officer – On July 16th at 5:10PM, police responded to the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) for an assault. The investigation revealed that an incarcerated inmate, identified as the accused, spat at two correctional officers while they were attempting to detain him for acting disorderly and combative. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

                Jamal Arris THOMPSON, 26, of 822 East 25th St in Oakland, CA
                Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on correctional officer
                Court date: September 9, 2013 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
