**INCIDENTS**
 
Strong Armed Robbery – On August 22nd at 5:43PM, police responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 1900 block of Fort Monroe Ct in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. The victim, an 18 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by three unknown males. The suspects surrounded the victim and demanded his phone. The group took the phone before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.
                Suspect Descriptions:
All 3 men were described as black males, between 17 & 18 years of age with thin builds and short black hair –
                1st male was around 6’0”, 130lbs
                Last seen wearing a blue shirt and black pants
 
                2nd male was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt with dark red stripes
 
                3rd male was last seen wearing camouflage shorts
 
Residential Burglary – On August 25th at 9:43PM, police responded to the 4700 block of Kilbane Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he returned home and noticed items were missing from his residence. The homeowner further reported seeing an unknown person running through his backyard. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. A gaming console with related games and other miscellaneous property, total value around $1,500, were reported missing. Entry appeared to have been gained through a rear window. The homeowner was unable to describe the suspect.
 
Residential Burglary – On August 25th at 6:28PM, police responded to the 2400 block of Trimaran Way in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on August 24th and 6:30AM on August 25th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry was made into an attached garage. No entry was made into the main residence. Two lawn mowers, total value around $2,400, were reported missing.
 
 
Residential Burglary – On August 24th at 10:06AM, police responded to the 12100 block of Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on August 21st and 9:00AM on August 24th. Entry into the residence was made through a side door which had been forced opened. Two TV’s, jewelry, and other property, total value around $5,800, were reported missing.
 
**ARRESTS**
 
Newman, Earl.jpgDischarging a Firearm from a Motor Vehicle – On August 23rd at 11:34PM, a Prince William County police officer was in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) when he heard a gunshot coming from the nearby Exxon Service Station. After hearing the gunshot, the officer observed a vehicle flee the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a vehicle stop in the area of River Ridge Blvd and Barrley Dr where he identified the two occupants as the below listed suspects. A search of the vehicle led to a handgun and marijuana being recovered. Following the investigation both occupants were arrested. No injuries or property damage were reported.

                Earl Douglas NEWMAN II, 22, of 3073 Azalea Sands Ln in Dumfries [Passenger]
                Charged with shooting a firearm from a vehicle

                Charged with possession of marijuana
                Court date: unavailable | Status: released on summons
 
McNeil, Ronald.jpgBurglary | Grand Larceny – On August 25th at 5:44PM, police responded to the 14100 block of Cove Landing Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:35PM and 5:44PM. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been pried open. A safe, containing a firearm and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, was reported missing. While investigating, officers were able to develop a suspect, later identified as the accused. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the accused who was later located and arrested at his residence. The accused was determined to be a known acquaintance of the victim.

                Ronald Alexander MCNEIL, 26, of 7443 Aspenpark Rd in Lorton
                Charged with burglary and grand larceny

Narcotics Investigation – On August 23rd, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspect marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 1979 Darlington Lp in Woodbridge (22191). As a result of the search, marijuana, evidence of distribution, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The following arrests were also made without incident.
                Arrested on August 23rd:
                Kevin James SKEENS, 25, of 1979 Darlington Lp in Woodbridge
               
                Omar Shah ZADRAN, 26, of 5456 Quaint Dr in Woodbridge
 
Both suspect were charged with 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and 1 count of transporting marijuana into the Commonwealth
