**INCIDENTS**
 
Armed Robbery – On September 28th at 1:46AM, police responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Benita Fitzgerald Dr and Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193). The four victims, all 19 year old males of Woodbridge, reported to police that they made arrangements to meet with a known acquaintance in the area above.  Once there, the victims were approached by three unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. After taking the victim’s cell phones, the suspects fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.
                Suspect Descriptions:
                3 black males, all reported to be between 18 & 20 years of age—
                1st male [armed suspect] was 6’0”, 150lbs with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes
                Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black half ski mask
 
                2nd male was described as having a thin build and collar length dreadlocks
                Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
 
                3rd male was described as having a thin build – no further description
                Last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans
 
Residential Burglary – On September 30th at 3:43AM, police responded to a residence located in the 4700 block of Lapene Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that she was inside her basement level bedroom when she heard loud noises coming from the common area just outside her room. The resident opened her bedroom door to check on the noise and observed an unknown man going through the cabinets in the kitchen. Once seen by the resident, the unknown man fled the home. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked door. Two TV’s, total value around $700, were reported missing. The resident was unable to describe the intruder other than noting that he was a white male.
 

Commercial Burglary – On September 29th at 10:31AM, police responded to Mozaic Barber and Beauty Salon located at 16708 Jefferson Davis Hwy #107 in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred 10:30PM on September 28th and 9:00AM on September 29th. There were no signs of forced entry into the business. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On September 28th at 1:37AM, police responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Kingman Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he was asleep when he awoke to a loud noise coming from within the home. The homeowner checked the house and discovered that the front door had been forced open and that an unknown person was seen running from the home. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. The homeowner was unable to describe the intruder.
 
Residential Burglary – On September 27th at 3:59PM, police responded to a residence located in the 4200 block of Lawnvale Dr in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 3:30PM. Entry was made into the residence through a kitchen window. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
 
Commercial Burglary – On September 27th at 1:20PM, police responded to Penny’s Used Auto Parts located at 13059 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on September 26th and 8:00PM on September 27th. Entry was made into the lot of the business through a fence which was found damaged. Once inside the property, the suspect(s) entered an enclosed garage. A scooter and generator, total value around $1,400, were reported missing.
 
Commercial Burglary – On September 27th at 7:35AM, police responded to P & B Automotive located at 8119 Rugby Rd in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30PM on September 26th and 6:30AM on September 27th. Entry was made into two containers on the property after the locks were cut off. A tractor, several used tires, and other property, total value around $1,400, were reported missing.
 

**ARRESTS**
 
?Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On September 28th at 4:36PM, police responded to investigate an attempted robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Ginn Memorial Park located at 3876 Graham Park Rd in Dumfries (22026). The victim, a 14 year old male of Dumfries, reported to police that he and other friends were at the park in the above area when they were approached by three juvenile males. The males asked the victim for money and, when he refused, the males chased the victim to a nearby parking lot. One of the males assaulted the victim before dispersing. No property was taken. Officers were able to locate the suspects walking down Graham Park Rd. Following the investigation, the juveniles were arrested.

                A 15 year old male, a 16 year old male, and a 14 year old male – all of Dumfries
                All were charged with attempted robbery

Douglas, Gary.jpgCommercial Burglary – On September 27th at 3:15AM, police responded to the Valero Service Station located at 13295 Trowbridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an alarm. Officers arrived at the business and discovered that the front glass door was shattered. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and several cartons of cigarettes were reported missing. Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, officers were able to identify one of the suspects involved in the incident. Officers located the suspect, identified as the accused, at his residence on Hoffman Dr. Following the investigation, the accused was charged in connection to the burglary. The investigation continues into the identity and arrest of a second suspect seen on the surveillance footage.

                Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants
 

Rotante, Salvatore.jpgAttempted Residential Burglary – On September 27th at 9:56AM, police responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of Canterbury Ln in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was inside her residence when she heard the doorbell ring. The homeowner didn’t not answer the door, at which point, the suspect tried to enter the residence. The suspect was not able to get into the residence due to the door being locked. The homeowner then reported that the suspect walked to a vehicle parked in the driveway and opened the unlocked driver’s door. The suspect located a garage door opener and used it to open the overhead door. As the suspect was walking towards the garage, the homeowner activated an alarm to another vehicle parked inside the garage. This caused the suspect to flee in his vehicle. The homeowner was able to provide police with a description of the suspect and the vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle a short distance away and identified the driver as the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
