**INCIDENTS**
 
Residential Burglary – On July 19th at 2:59AM, police responded to the 1800 block of Tilletson Pl in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:20PM on July 18th and 2:58AM on July 19th. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement door which had been forced open. A TV and gaming console, total value around $1,300, were reported missing.
 
Residential Burglary – On July 18th at 10:10PM, police responded to the 4200 block of Berwick Pl in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 6:30AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, valued around $1,500, was reported missing.
 
Attempted Residential Burglary – On July 18th at 4:05AM, police responded to the 16500 block of Royal Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that he was inside his residence when he heard noises coming from the rear sliding glass door. Upon opening the door to investigate the noise, the homeowner heard a noise which sounded like someone was jumping over his fence. Officers checked the exterior of the residence and discovered damage to a rear window. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
 

Romero, Isidro.jpgRape Investigation – On July 16th, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began a rape investigation which was reported to have occurred in the 14300 block of Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge (22191) between December of 2012 and July of 2013. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14 year old girl of Woodbridge, was raped on multiple occasions by the accused, a known acquaintance, during the time frame above. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the accused on July 18th. Multiple units within the Criminal Investigation Division and patrol checked known locations for the accused. Later that evening, the accused turned himself into police without incident.

                Isidro Osotro ROMERO, 37, of the 14300 block of Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge
                Charged with 5 counts of rape
