Students, teachers and the public take some time for celebration of more earthquake recovery at a Louisa County school Thursday evening.
The 5.8 magnitude quake last August caused damages to a number of schools in the county and to other structures. The repairs at the gym inside Trevillian's Elementary School were made to walls and the roof.
Superintendent Dr. Doborah Petit says the newly reopened gym will serve students from there and Thomas Jefferson Elementary.
Though many students are still in modular classrooms, Petit says school life is slowly getting back to normal.
