Good news could be ahead for teachers in Stafford County. They could see more money in next year's paychecks, but shouldn't think about how to spend the money just yet.
The School Board still has to convince county supervisors that they need $21.5 million more than this year's budget. It also includes a cut of more than a million-dollars to the districts early retirement program, once known as the Bridge. The School Board holds a public hearing February 11th to tackle the specifics.
