The human remains found behind the GEICO building on Route 17 in Stafford County last week are identified as 45 year-old Timothy Wait.
Wait was reported missing by his wife on May 12, 2011. He was last seen walking in the area of Mine Road Commuter lot, in North Stafford. Over the last year and a half the Stafford County Sheriff's Office has had an extensive ongoing effort to locate Wait.
The preliminary report of the autopsy by the Medical Examiner's Office and the investigation by the Sheriff's Office indicates that the death of Wait was not the result of foul play.
