Skeletal remains found in Stafford

Human skeletal remains are found by a truck driver near the north bound 140 off ramp on 1-95 this morning.

At 9:13 Thursday a truck driver, who had parked his tractor trailer on the 140 exit off ramp, discovered some human skeletal remains in the wooded area where he was walking. He immediately called 9-1-1 and Stafford deputies and state police responded.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident with help from state police.

This is an ongoing investigation. No other information is available at this time.
