Spotsy Student with MRSA of to Go Back to Class

by Deirdre Blake posted Nov 12 2013 9:09AM
If you're the parent of a student at Chancellor Elementary in Spotsy, you should have gotten a letter that a student there's been diagnosed with MRSA.
It's caused by a strain of antibiotic resistant staph bacteria and often starts as apainful skin boil and is spread by skin-to-skin contact. Call a doctor if you child has symptoms, but the one there has been treated and cleared to come back to class.
