A sailor hit by a drone on the Navy ship named for the 1863 Battle of Chancellorsville, ported near California, is from Spotsylvania County.
Petty Officer David Gentry is one of two to get burned when a target drone veered off course during a weapons test. The technology on the only Navy vessel named for the local battle comes from its Dahlgren base in King George.
