Arrests Made, May 5, 2014 – May 11, 2014
 
 
Theft
On 5/11/14, Deputy Arndt arrested Christopher Bowers, 29 of Spotsylvania for Grand Larceny after he stole a jackhammer from the back of a pickup truck in the parking lot of Wal-Mart.
 
On 5/7/14, Deputy Papke arrested Clarence Latney Jr., 21 of Fredericksburg for Felony Shoplifting at the Giant in Harrison's Crossing.
 
On 5/6/14, Deputy Setlock released Stephen Jandrosits, 24 and Jeremiah Seco, 18 both of Spotsylvania on summonses for Shoplifting from Wal-Mart.
 
Assault
On 5/11/14, Deputy Fuller arrested Jerry Dotson, 53 of Spotsylvania for Assault and Battery in the 11200 block of Gander Ct. 
 
On 5/8/14, Deputy Papke arrested Sean Keller, 38 of Spotsylvania for Assault and Battery on Norwick Ln. 
 
On 5/6/14, Sr. Deputy Tillman arrested Kerry Babcock, 25 of Spotsylvania for Assault and Battery over a dispute.    
 
On 5/5/14, Deputy B. Harding arrested Blake Calabrese, 29 of Fredericksburg for Malicious Wounding.
 
DUI
On 05/11/14, Deputy Norris arrested Jacob Zimmerman, 24 of Spotsylvania, for DUI after a traffic stop on Courthouse Road near Mine Road. 
 
On 5/10/14, Sr. Deputy Walsh arrested Jessica Hulon, 25 of Mineral for DUI after responding to a single vehicle accident in the 5900 block of Belmont Road, in which the vehicle caught fire. 
 
Narcotics
On 05/11/14, Deputy Baugh charged Devin Latney, 19 of Woodford, with Possession of Marijuana in Cosner Park.  Devin was released on a summons at the scene.
 
On 5/10/14, Deputy Polliard arrested Roland Samuel, 41 of Port Royal, for possession of schedule I/II (PCP), Reckless Driving, Misdemeanor Eluding, DUI, Refusal, and Driving Revoked.  Shanise Wise, 25 of Port Royal, was charged with possession of schedule I/II (PCP) and allowing an unlicensed person to drive.  The arrests were the result of a traffic stop.
 
On 5/10/14, Sr. Deputy Tillman released Justin Levins, 27 of Spotsylvania and Matthew McCutcheon, 23 of Stafford on summonses for Possession of Marijuana after finding marijuana and a smoking device the vehicle during a traffic stop for no front license plate at Creative Child Care. 
 
On 5/10/14, Sr. Deputy Walsh released Bruce Johnson, 19 of Spotsylvania on a summons for Possession of Marijuana after responding to the CVS at 4201 Plank Road for vandalism and finding marijuana on him during a consent search of his person. 
 
On 5/7/14, Sergeant Assur arrested Richard Sexton, 54 of Clarksville for Possession of Marijuana and Trespassing at the VDGIF Motts Boat Landing located at 6600 River Rd.
 
On 05/07/14, Deputy Jeffries arrested Matthew Lee Elder, 30 from Spotsylvania at Knights Inn for Possession of Schedule IV Narcotics, Possession of paraphernalia, and destruction of property.
 
On 5/6/14, Deputy Cairns released Walter West, 22 of Spotsylvania on a summons for Possession of Marijuana In the 5600 block of Acree Ave.   Deputy Cairns also arrested Diantre Nibblins, 21 and Timerra Vest, 19 both of Spotsylvania for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. 
 
Arrests
On 5/10/14, Deputy Fuller arrested Tre Wilson, 21 of Spotsylvania for Destruction of Property after he damaged another vehicle at the CVS located at 4201 Plank Rd. 
On 5/5/14, Deputy C. Smeal arrested Samantha Keating, 25 of Spotsylvania for Public Intoxication on Margo Rd.
On 5/5/14, Deputy M. Jones arrested Craig Bittner, 24 of Spotsylvania for Littering and Obstruction of Justice and Kyle Bittner, 25 of Spotsylvania for Obstruction of Justice. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop at Mine Rd and Noel Dr.
