The search for a new school superintendent in Spotsylvania County has ended almost as fast as it started.
The school board on Monday named Assistant Superintendent Scott Baker to the post succeeding Shelly Redinger who leaves at the end of the school year.
According to this morning's
Free Lance-Star, Baker was one of two top hires Redinger made after taking the superintendent's post last year.
Baker, a Virginia native, most recently worked in the Hanover County school system.
