The Stafford County Schools Transportation Department is searching for at least 25 substitute bus drivers.
Spokeswoman Margaret Hill says it is a great opportunity for retired commercial truck or bus drivers and even military veterans that are returning from combat. The September through June position includes good pay and benefits and provides flexibility. People that are hired and have children may even take them on their route.
The position does require about 50 hours of in and out of class training to get a commercial drivers license.
