The State Fair of Virginia and the Meadow Event Park could have a new owner...again.
The Richmond Times Dispatch reports that the present owner, Universal Fairs LLC, is in discussion to sell the intellectual property and the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County. Universal Fair's Mark Lovell says since he bought the the property at auction on May 22 he has been contacted by an interested buyer.
He says there has been an offer and a counter offer that exceeds $10-million.
Lovell purchased the property for more than $5.6-million.
