A 24-year police veteran and former head of the Fredericksburg detective's division is handed two three year suspended sentences on Monday.
Brent Mitchell Taylor was arrested in January when a 17 year old boy found walking on Route 17 said that he locked himself out of the motel room Taylor had rented for the pair.
He was charged with two felonies, using electronic means to solicit a minor and crimes against nature. Taylor was immediately suspended from the Fredericksburg force and later resigned.
