The Potomac Nationals plan to build a new minor league ballpark for the club in Woodbridge.
The plans announced Tuesday call for a 6,000- to 7,000-seat stadium off Interstate 95 in the Potomac Town Center development.
Club owner Art Silber said the new ballpark will also feature some luxuries found in the big leagues. "Twelve sky boxes. And based on need we could possibly expand that. There's going to be a club level up above the press box that's going seat about 300." Silber said Tuesday in Woodbridge.
Details still need to be finalized, but the plan calls for Silber to invest $25 million in the ballpark.
