The Sky Express bus dispatcher who ordered a driver to get behind the wheel, although he was too tired, appears in court Wednesday.
41-year-old Zhao Jian Chen was arraigned Wednesday and plans to plead not guilty at the two day trial set for June 18. Chen is charged with ordering 37-year-old bus driver Kin Yiu Cheung to drive the bus on May 31 from North Carolina to New York City.
The bus crashed in Caroline County killing four passengers and injuring 53 others.
Both men face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
