A tip about a man wanted in Maryland leads to two arrests in Spotsylvania on Tuesday morning.
A deputy went to the Econo Lodge on Jeff Davis Highway to look for Christopher Perry Paterson. There, he got another tip on a room number and found Paterson and 31 year old Jerritt Pace, of Fort Belvoir. The deputy says there was drug paraphernalia in the form of needles and an empty prescription bottle. Pace said they were his. The prescription was filled four days ago, but the bottle was empty, leaving the deputy to believe the pills were being sold illegally.
Both 49 year old Paterson and Pace face multiple charges.
