UMW to Launch Nursing Program

by Frank Hammon posted Jul 8 2013 10:53AM
The University of Mary Washington plans to offer a Bachelor's degree in nursing in the fall of 2014. It's a way for those with Associate's Degrees in nursing to earn a bachelor's in as little as a year.
The Free lance-Star reports it's seen as a way to increase the quality of health care in Virginia and expand the university's course offerings in a way to benefit the community.
