Power restoration efforts continue throughout Virginia following Superstorm Sandy. Rodney Blevins with Dominion Virginia Power says they still have more than 8800 without service, but they should all be back on by late Thursday.
Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative had massive outages and just over 1400 are still in the dark. That latest time of full restoration for them is also Thursday. Rappahannock Electric Cooperative has over 1500 without power, most in the snow covered western part of the state.
