UPDATE:Lawyer Appointed to Determine Value of Slavery Museum Land

 A Fredericksburg lawyer us appointed Tuesday to figure out the value of the 38 acres the National Slavery Museum owns in the Celebrate Virginia South.
Kevin Jones must report back to the judge by July 15th and he will decide at another hearing on how to proceed. It's been assessed from $750,000 all the way to over $7 million.
The city of Fredericksburg might sell the land at public auction to recoup more than $300,000 in unpaid real estate taxes. 
The musem emegred from bankruptcy late last summer.
